Hi y’all! 

We have arrived to South Africa safe and sound, with only a week in to this adventure I have so many memories and have already been stretched by the Lord. 

We had training camp at Adventures in Missions in Georgia for 4 days which entailed a lot of teaching sessions, preparing for our ministry in our countries of choice, worship time, and getting to know my teammates. It was a time of new friends coming together and sharing testimonies and what Jesus has done so far in our lives. It was the start of a beautiful community of girls running after Christ’s own heart. 

Leaving Georgia very early in the morning we started our 2 day journey to Jeffrey’s Bay, South Africa. This consisted of multiple 3 hour flights, an 11 hour flight, a 7 hour flight, and an hour drive. But we finally arrived to our amazing host home for the next month! 

We have spent a lot of time in our group worshiping, swimming in the ocean, playing cards, meeting locals, star gazing, and learning the amazing culture. We start our main ministry focus tomorrow (Monday) at a school called Beats and Books. We have very minimal details for this, except for spending time with the children and sharing Jesus’ powerful love with them. 

I am beyond excited to start forming relationships with the children at the school and to see even more of how the Lord is using me and my team and I am ready to draw even closer to Him.
